Marathon Drum Carnival

A 6 - day surplus - mileage carnival of lavishly branded floats parading not less than 1000 drummers traversing six states of the west of Nigeria. It is the first of its kind and longest carnival to be witnessed in the annals of NIgerian Cultural tourism.

Ayan-Agalu Soungobi Veneration

A ritual invocation of the spiritual origin of drums and drumming. A veneration of the Yoruba deity custodian of the drumming art.

The Art of Drum Workshop

A workshop on the art, aesthetics, philosophy and craft of drums and drumming to be coordinated by a renowned scholar. It is a forum where the skills of drumming and making will be imparted.

Drum Speaks; Man Chants

A session of Interpretive exercise in drumming. The drum leads man in chanting the oriki (praise poetry of Lineage, peoples, families personalities etc) proverbs, riddles and witty saying etc. available in Yoruba Culture. It is to be coordinate by Alagba Adebayo Faleti.
